First, we’ll help you take the guesswork out of deciding how best to handle your project with a Design Consultation Meeting
● We’ll meet you in your home for up to 90 minutes to get to know each other and to talk about your project and your wish list.
● We’ll gather key information about your needs and preferences to build a foundation for your project.
● We’ll look at any architectural plans or inspiration images you may have.
● At this meeting, we’ll determine the best service option and next steps for your project.
● The fee for the Design Consultation Meeting is $325. The cost for design services will also be determined during your consultation and it never changes unless you add to our list of to-dos. The design fee includes our scheduled meetings, studio time, as well as all ordering, tracking, inspections, receiving, storage, and delivery of your materials, and project site visits to ensure that plans are being followed to the T.
PHASE 1: PRELIMINARY CONCEPT
Wouldn’t it be a beautiful thing to know what your project is going to cost before you start buying flooring and tearing down walls?!
As the first step toward a new construction or remodel project, we are going to assign a little homework. It’s really the only thing we ask of you. This will be sending us inspiration images to our shared Pinterest board, filling out a couple of questionnaire forms. We work to fully understand your project and your expectations through visual examples, what we read in your forms, and what you tell us in our first meetings. Each of these methods ensures we know exactly what your dream wish list for your space looks like.
● We’ll ask you all the right questions to help us understand exactly what you want and need. After that your only job is to sit back and relax.
● We’ll then conduct thorough research, including holding appointments with contractors to get their labor and materials bids in order to configure your budget according to the level of finishes you actually want, ensuring a no surprises experience.
● From this research, we’ll create an itemized budget for you in spreadsheet form detailing what you should expect to spend on everything from the plumbing and electrical down to the cost of the cabinet hardware.
● The information we provide will be current and totally customized to you and the details of your project.
● Wherever needed, we’ll use our design expertise to help you adjust the budget and/or reevaluate your goals, your priorities, and your wish list to help you achieve results you’ll love while also aligning with an amount you’re comfortable investing in your project.
PHASE 2: FINAL DESIGN CONCEPT
● Once we’ve confirmed we’re all on the same page both aesthetically and financially, we move into making final design selections for your space that match the budget and style from Phase 1.
● Meetings will be scheduled in advance to review the progress of your project as we go along. You are given a chance at every meeting to provide feedback and approvals on items presented. This approach lets the selections build upon each other, ensuring all along the way that your expectations for your dream space are being met.
● The final meeting is the Full Design and Purchasing Meeting. All items specified for your space will be presented in a 3D rendering so you can visualize how the spaces will look when completely finished. Payment for all items sourced for your room(s) must be submitted before we can place any orders for you. Our concierge service includes ordering, tracking, receiving, storage, and installation of your new goods.
PHASE 3: CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT
● Throughout construction, as your contractor’s demo and install on the job site, we will be present to make sure all of our plans are coming together as we envisioned. We pride ourselves on the attention to detail and making sure that every base is covered and each task is completed as planned.
