Around here, we live by the motto: “Less, but better”. And I’m pretty sure you’ve had MORE than you bargained for and not necessarily the BEST of 2020. And to top it off, Christmas is just around the corner. Whether you do so willingly or begrudgingly, you likely always try to provide the most magic for the Christmas season for those you love. Perhaps as the year winds down you are craving the magic Christmas usually brings, but you don’t know where to start because your year has been such a mess. Or maybe you are dreading the holidays because you see it as just one more thing to stress over. If 2020 had a word it would be: exhausted. That’s why Katy Kelly of Refresh Organizing and I, Jamie Stauffer of Here, Let Me Design have joined forces to offer you the Home for the Holidays Re-spruce.

What does it mean to Re-Spruce your Home for the Holidays?

A re-spruce, synonymous with refresh, might look different to each person. Think first about what has you overwhelmed about the approaching holidays. As a duo- Katy Kelly of Refresh Organizing and Jamie Stauffer of Here, Let Me Design- we created the Home for the Holidays Re-Spruce. We believe you deserve to slow down and soak up the festivities with your loved ones and not spend your time in another month of stress. The Home for the Holidays Re-Spruce is a chance to hit reset on 2020 and get your home decluttered, organized, and restyled with simple splash of festivity, so that you can focus on comfort and joy, warmth and peace, and all the glad tidings. With the seasonal organizing and decor refresh package we created, we will declutter the space of your choice + implement sustainable storage solutions so that you can spend your time on what matters most, and then provide the holiday themed design that brings your vision to life.

Because you have enough going on in your busy life — working together should be as easy as possible. After selecting the space you wish to re-spruce + booking your holiday re-spruce bundle, here’s what to expect:

Consultation: A 20 minute conversation with Katy or Jamie to discuss your holiday organizing needs and style profile.

Plan: This important step will guide the entire organizing + design process.
Declutter: Before ever worrying about how to organize your belongings, we must first determine what it is you wish to keep! *Start to finish, Refresh Organizing will do the heavy-lifting, but your input will be required during this step.
Organize: Implementation of sustainable storage solutions + workflow unique to your vision, space, and lifestyle. We value low-waste; therefore, typically use items you already have on-hand for storage. *If you wish to purchase new storage solutions or receive product recommendations, we will certainly accommodate and can discuss during our consultation.
Spruce: Here, Let Me Spark JOY: With care + expertise, Jamie will help you transform your space + fill it with seasonal decor that is sure to bring joy to you and those you love. Everything delivered and installed in one day.

Katy Kelly at Refresh Organizing and I both believe that everything in your home should have a purpose and should light you up with excitement each time you see it. It's a big part of why I formed Here, Let Me Design and I know the same rings true for her business. With the Home for the Holidays Re-Spruce bundle you should expect a decluttered and organized space as well as a holiday inspired design that is simple, minimal, and fuss-free. Katy will get all the tangles out of your tinsel; the chaos out of your Christmas and I using what you decided to keep I will bring in the festive (while simple) holiday decor. Examples of what you might find based on your budget:

Bedding: linens either holiday themed or no, throw pillows, blankets
Table top decor: candles, books, objects, etc.
Greenery: Faux garlands, wreaths, and a *mini tree or other faux floral arrangements
Other: Ribbons, bows, ornaments, lights, etc.
- includes the trimmings for a 4ft or smaller tree. If you have a bigger tree for the space of your choosing, check out the the Tree in a Box add-on on the bundle form. This would include everything needed for the tree packed in a box delivered to you on restyle day. Then you and your family can enjoy decorating the tree together. This would need to be mentioned at the time we discuss your budget.

How long will it take to re-Spruce my Home for the Holidays?

We get that the holidays are full of hustle and bustle and if there is anyway we can help you savor every moment it’s by providing our Home for the Holidays bundle and getting your home it tip top shape faster than Santa can call On Dasher, On Dancer… Your bundle includes about 8 hours total time with Katy and Jamie. Some of this time spent in your home and some of this time goes to curating, sourcing, and installing your holiday vision. You will work together with Katy during the decluttering phase of the project and you’re welcome to pour yourself another class of spiked eggnog while we do the rest. The Home for the Holidays Re-Spruce is different from a traditional full service design as it is meant to be quick and simple; you will spend one day with Katy and then I arrive in the next day or two and decorate using those items and anything else purchased on your behalf.

Where do you find the items I need for my Re-spruce?

Because the Home for the Holidays Bundle is meant to be quick we find it a very appropriate time to support local business. During the 20 minute free consultation we will talk about your budget and style profile to determine which local shops will be best for curating your re-spruce. As your designer, I will pull things from anywhere ranging from Home Goods, Harrison House, House Counsel, to The Thicket, and more. It’s so important to give back to our local economy now more than ever. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
